The end of July is nearing and before we know it, it will be back to school and the temps will begin to drop into cooler fall days. There's still some time left to have some fun out on the lake and make the last few weeks of summer count!
Watch the Sunrise
There's nothing prettier than a sunrise over the water. Wake up before the sun comes up, eat some donuts on the dock, and watch the sun come up. Don't forget your camera!
Enjoy Your Time Outside Daily
Go for a walk, take a swim, draw some sidewalk chalk - do something outside each day. Before we know you're going to need a jacket to go outside again.
Take a Late Night Boat Ride
Grab a blanket and the family and take the boat out for a late night cruise! Make sure your red and green lights are on and that your light pole is up and working for yours and others safety.
Take a Day Trip to Your Local Shops
Get out of the house and hit up some local places to eat and shop. Take the whole family and make a day out of it or grab your girlfriends for a girls day (shhh don't tell the kids).
Take a "Do Nothing" Day
Take a day to do absolutely nothing at all. Lay on the couch, watch a movie, and eat your favorite snack. This is always important to do every once in a while.
Go Camping
Gather your camping supplies and take a little camping trip with your family/friends.
Find a Farmer's Market
This time of year is especially good for finding a local farmer's market with lots of goodness. Plus it's a good way to get everyone to eat their fruits and veggies.
Read a Book Outside
Find your favorite book and read in the hammock or on a chair outside. Pro tip - wear a large sun hat to keep your book shaded so it's easier to read.
